Dr. Akash Rajput treats cancers of the mouth, tongue, throat, jaw and neck — and rebuilds what the surgery has to remove. His sub-specialty is microvascular reconstruction: transferring living tissue with its own blood supply so that patients can speak, swallow and be recognised in the mirror after treatment.
He has performed over 1,500 cancer surgeries across six years of consultant practice in Lucknow, and remains active in teaching, research and oral cancer screening camps in rural Uttar Pradesh.
