Mukhyamantri Shikshak Cashless Chikitsa Yojana

Uttar Pradesh's cashless medical scheme for teachers and staff — the CM teachers' cashless card — covers treatment up to ₹5 lakh at government and empanelled private hospitals. CoreOnco treats patients under this scheme; bring the card and your reports, and our counsellor handles the approvals.

Who is covered

The scheme covers teachers and non-teaching staff of the Basic and Secondary Education departments of Uttar Pradesh, including Shiksha Mitras and instructors, and their dependent family members, in the categories set out in the government order. It was approved by the state cabinet on 29 January 2026 and launched in July 2026.

One exception matters: anyone already covered by another central or state government health scheme — Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY or the Mukhyamantri Jan Arogya Abhiyan, for example — is not eligible for this one and uses that scheme instead. Either way, treatment with us is cashless.

How treatment works with us

  • Step 1Bring your card and reportsCM teachers' cashless card, department ID, Aadhaar, and every medical report you have
  • Step 2We confirm your coverOur counsellor verifies the card and the applicable package, and completes the approval formalities before admission
  • Step 3Treatment goes ahead cashlessUp to ₹5 lakh, at the package rates set under Ayushman Bharat and the National Health Authority

What we will always tell you

The scheme runs on Ayushman Bharat package rates, and occasionally a specific implant, drug or test falls outside a package. If anything in your plan is not covered, you are told the exact amount in writing before treatment, never at discharge. If a long course of treatment risks exceeding the ₹5 lakh limit, you hear that before it starts.

Common questions

Are my family members covered?
Yes. Dependent family members are covered, in the categories set out in the government order. Our counsellor checks your specific entitlement at the first visit.
My family already has an Ayushman card. Which scheme applies?
Anyone already covered by PM-JAY or another government health scheme is not eligible for the teachers' scheme and uses that cover instead. Both are cashless with us, and our counsellor confirms which applies before admission.
Is cancer treatment covered?
Cancer surgery, chemotherapy and admission are covered where they fall within the approved packages, up to ₹5 lakh. Our counsellor confirms the package for your case before anything is scheduled.
Does CoreOnco charge for handling the paperwork?
No. Verifying the card, confirming the package and completing the approvals is part of our counsellor's job, at no charge.
